21 flamingos were moving to a new enclosure. The animal keepers were transporting them carefully to their new home. The vet undertook a medical exam and then they were moved to their new 1500 m² big enclosure with a lot of sun and a pond of 200 m² with a small island. The water is cleaned by a modern water treatment plant. The flamingo house of 50 m² with a green top also belong to the new home.

An enclosure with aquaria (Haffaquarium), a new enclosure for wolves , and a new enclosure for European turtles will be built in 2012 - the 50th anniversary of the zoo.
